Do you take bookings?
No; it is too difficult to organise. Boots and clothing must be tried on for an accurate fit. We suggest you arrive early to have first pick.

What clothing sizes do you have?
Our clothing starts from babies' size 00 and goes through to adults' size 7XL.
Our boots range from infant's size 4 to mens' size 14.
Our insulated pants are available in long and short legs to ensure an accurate fit for all body shapes.

What hours are you open?
In winter we are open 7 days a week until 7pm. On Fridays we close at 9pm.
On weekdays we are open at 7:30am and at 7:00am on weekends.

Are you open in the summer?
Yes. Outside the summer school holidays we are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but otherwise are open from 9am. If it snows in summer, we are happy to provide you with all you need, just as in the winter.

What about chains?
We only hire diamond-pattern chains. These are far safer than ladder-pattern chains. Ladder-pattern chains do not prevent your car sliding sideways, whereas diamond-pattern chains do. We reason that if we don't think that ladder-pattern chains are safe enough on our own cars, why would we hire them out to our customers?

Is car parking easy near you?
We have a good-sized car park at the front of the shop which is capable of handling 15 cars, and a rear car park which can take well over 60 cars. Plenty of room for buses too. No need to search for a car park and no long walks from the car to the ski hire.

What if I want to buy rather than hire?
We sell toboggans from $28, snow boots from $27, as well as overpants and insulated pants & parkas and snow chains. We carry goretex gloves as well as cheaper gloves and a very wide range of novelty hats and more traditional beanies. All stock for sale is brand new. Nothing is ex rental, unless specifically designated.

What makes you the best?
Our friendly and helpful staff who greet you are the same ones who fit your boots and clothing and do your paperwork. You will not feel as though you're on a conveyor belt. Our insulated clothing is all 10,000 mm waterproof and 10.000 gm2/24 hr breathable or better (up to 30,000 mm waterproof). We welcome you to take the sniff test with any of our boots or clothing. Our boots never smell as we sterilise them between hires so we don't need to cover up smells with deodorant. Our clothes never smell either, as they are washed after every hire. For this reason, we are perfectly comfortable if you choose to wear our clothing next to your skin.
